I have had two previous miscarriages, one at 9.5 weeks and one very early around 5 weeks. I was fortunate enough to work with a Specialist in the Spring who discovered that I had a septate uterus which may have been the cause for the pregnancy loss. I had surgery in July to resect the septum and I am currently 10.5 weeks pregnant! I had a wonderful ultrasound at 8.5 weeks showing a very healthy baby and I have my first Dr.'s appt today. I've been carrying the St. Gerard metal and hankerchief with me constantly and start and end every day with asking St. Gerard to intercede for my pregnancy health. I'm praying that the appt goes well today - it would be the longest pregnancy yet and I'm just anxious to near the end of the first trimester. Thank you for your prayers!

I will pray for you and your unborn child. My husband and I will be trying our first round of IVF in November. We have been trying for three years and are cautiously optimistic. I too wear my St. Gerard medal everyday and try to be hopeful. Please keep us posted and I wish you an uneventful pregnancy and a safe delivery.
